COMMISSIONER LETTER

Allapattah is the place to be right now. It’s a fastgrowing and diverse neighborhood located in the heart of the City of Miami, rich in Latin culture, art, and history. I am privileged to be a part of the growth occurring in Allapattah and I will continue to work hard day in and day out, to make sure we bring out all the beauty it has to offer while staying true to its essence of being a wonderful tight-knit community of hard-working residents proud of their heritage. Allapattah is symbolic of the real Miami. Allapattah boasts one of the biggest private art ollections in the country at Rubell Museum, an immersive art museum across the street at Super Blue, delicious eateries and bars like Hometown BBQ, Miami Bakery, Papo Llega y Pon, Club Tipico Dominicano, and Don Toston just to mention a few. Having grown up helping my father in his small business located in llapattah, I was able to see this amazing neighborhood quickly grow into a place that not only its own residents but those that have just discovered its charm want to invest in and help grow. Allapattah is undiscovered country quickly being discovered.
